I help worship leaders and pastors develop their worship and tech teams so the church sounds great every Sunday and stays that way.
The gear you have is probably fine. The team around it is the difference.
20+ YEARS
Leading worship, tech teams, and working in live production.
EVERY SUNDAY
Whether leading worship or running sound, still supporting the local church.
10,000+
Worship leaders and sound people learning with me every week.

THE SUNDAY PROBLEM
Which is why so many worship leaders and pastors end up stuck in the same loop:
The mix is different every single week. Better, worse, you never know what you're going to get.
You've asked the band to turn down. Again. And it still didn't fix it.
You're pricing out new gear, hoping money solves a problem money can't reach.
It all depends on which volunteer shows up. One person knows the board. Everyone else guesses.
Nobody ever handed you a framework for developing the team that actually creates the sound. That's the real problem. And it's one you can fix.
THE FRAMEWORK
The bottom two get all the attention. The top two do 90% of the work. And both of them are team problems, not tech problems.
What everything sounds like before it hits the console. Get this right and it does 95% of the mix for you.
Who plays what, and when. A part that shouldn't be there can't be mixed into working.
The console is a polish tool, not a fix tool. If your team is fixing problems here, the problem started upstream.
It just has to clear a minimum bar and then get out of the way.
The tech team is downstream of the worship team. That's why I coach leaders, not just techs.
ABOUT JAKE
I have spent 20+ years in worship teams or church sound without a single gap. Since I was 15 I've either led the worship team, run the tech team, or done both at the same time. I still mix every Sunday at my home church.
Along the way I went pro. Production companies, installs, studio sessions, touring with conferences. But walked away from all of it to help normal churches with normal teams. Now I coaches the leaders responsible for how their church sounds, so their team doesn't fall apart when the best volunteer is out of town.
I have led worship with no sound person, scheduled the band, wrote the charts, arranged the parts, set up the sound for the band, ran rehearsal.
I've been the tech who knew what the musicians needed because I'd been one. Plus years of professional rooms, rigs, and environments.

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER
Some teams need a better starting point on the console. Some need the whole system rebuilt around them. And if you're not the leader, just the person who got handed the sound and decided to care, you're in the right place too. That instinct to make it better is exactly what your church needs. Every path is built from what I actually use on Sundays.
START FREE
Reverb and delay presets you can load onto your console right now. Built from the same settings I use every Sunday. Free. No catch.
SELF SERVE
Presets, console scenes, and training courses for the Behringer X32 and Wing. A solid starting point your whole team can work from, this Sunday.
THE FLAGSHIP - LIMITED TO 3 TEAMS
90 days of 1:1 coaching for worship leaders and pastors. I watch your actual multitracks every week and send you video breakdowns, we meet live once a month, and I build a custom console scene from your band's real recordings. You finish with a Blueprint Document and a team that doesn't depend on one person who knows the board.
This isn't a hired-gun fix. I'm not showing up once and leaving. I'm developing the leader who stays.
A NOTE FROM JAKE
If you lead worship or pastor a church, you already know the sound isn't really about the sound. When it's right, nobody thinks about it. People sing, the message lands, and people enjoy their time in your church. When it's wrong, it's the only thing anyone notices.
You don't need to become a pro audio engineer. And you don't need to spend money you don't have. You need a framework for the team you already lead, so the sound is consistent whether it's your best tech behind the console or your newest one.
That's what everything here is built for. No fluff, no theory for the sake of theory. Just what actually works on a Sunday, because I'll be behind a console this Sunday too.

Either way, your next Sunday can sound better than your last one.
